Transfiguration School's Mission Statement

EACH STUDENT OF TRANSFIGURATION SCHOOL SHALL:
EXPERIENCE A WELL BALANCED CURRICULUM,
GROW IN LOVE OF GOD, SELF, HUMANKIND AND ALL CREATION,
DEVELOP KNOWLEDGE OF AND RESPECT FOR HIS OR HER CULTURAL
HERITAGE, AND
PREPARE TO BECOME A RESPONSIBLE CITIZEN OF SOCIETY.

Our Mission

Our mission is firmly reflected in our strong academic program. At Transfiguration School we are committed to providing our students an individualized Catholic education. We utilize a wide array of tools to ensure academic growth in our students. The students have actively incorporated technology into their learning; each classroom is equipped with computers and/or laptops. Every class has an opportunity to utilize the Science Lab and Library. In addition, we offer courses during the instructional day including in the fine and performing arts, dance and piano classes.

Our Philosophy

Transfiguration Catholic School Community believes that each person is a child of God, created in the love of God. We nourish a faith-filled community that focuses on developing each student's spiritual, intellectual, physical, cultural and social being. At Transfiguration, students experience an all-encompassing and rigorous curriculum rooted in Catholic traditions and values.

United with parents and parishioners, our educators dedicate themselves to fostering an environment of communication, leadership and academic success. With the support of our community, each child has the opportunity to grow and develop to his or her highest potential. The ultimate outcome expected for every student: A child of God, who is academically competent, inspired in the love of God, respectful of all God's creation, proud of his/her cultural heritage and a responsible contributor to our society.
