ACADEMIC Overview
Transfiguration School is a dynamic, family-oriented, and vibrant community! As a Pre-K through 8th grade school, we offer a curriculum that seeks to educate the whole person and nurture the development of each individual student through a balanced program that excites, motivates, and challenges.
Transfiguration School lives by its mission: to provide students with a well-rounded, faith-based education; to inspire a lifelong love of learning and a pursuit of academic excellence; to nurture a desire to grow in love for God, self, humankind, and all creation; to foster an understanding of and respect for the diversity that strengthens our society; and to encourage active, responsible global citizenship.
At Transfiguration, we are committed to providing our students with an individualized Catholic education. We utilize a wide array of scaffolded tools to promote academic growth and meet each student at their level. Technology is actively incorporated into daily learning, with each classroom equipped with computers and laptops to support instruction. Our teaching approach blends small-group, whole-group, and individualized instruction to ensure all learners are engaged and progressing within their zone of proximal development.
In addition to a strong core curriculum, we offer courses in the fine and performing arts, including dance, during the instructional day. These programs allow students to explore their creative potential while developing skills that contribute to a well-rounded education. Learn more about by downloading our student handbook.
